Studio production, taught by people who run live television

We are a UK team of studio directors, camera operators, sound and lighting specialists and gallery producers.

Behind the scenes of a television studio with cables and camera tripods

Our story

buzzlaro began in 2014 when a group of studio professionals noticed the same problem in newsrooms and entertainment studios across the UK: talented crews, good kit, and no shared way of working. Cameras were set up differently every day, lighting fought with sound, and the gallery learned about changes at the last minute.

We started running short, practical sessions on the studio floor. Today we help broadcasters, production companies and independent studios plan their spaces, train their crews and build workflows that stay calm when the show is live.

What we stand for

  • Practice over theory

Every session happens on a real floor with real kit, so skills transfer straight to air.

  • Safety first

Rigging, cabling and camera movement are taught with the safety of crew and talent in mind.

  • One crew, one picture

Camera, sound, lighting and gallery learn together so nobody works in a silo.

  • Built to be repeated

We leave behind checklists and workflow sheets so the standard survives staff changes.

From news desks to live entertainment

A news bulletin needs speed and clarity. A live entertainment show needs spectacle and timing. We adapt the same core principles to both: precise camera work, honest lighting, clean sound and a gallery that knows exactly what happens next.

Whether you are fitting out a new studio or refreshing an established set, we start with your format and build the plan around it.
